• A BRIEF STUDY ON GOMPERTZ-MAKEHAM MODEL AND SOME ASPECTS ON AGRICULTURAL GROWTH OF ASSAM

Abstract


Here we study some aspects of Gompertz-Makeham model that is used as an effective one in solving some socio-economic development problems in Assam so to say mainly the agriculture. Fortran programme has been developed for the testing of validity of the model. Chi-Square goodness of fit test reveals what we have proposed for. It is expected that with the help of the method and the software that we have developed prediction related to growth of Agriculture of Assam and others could be made.
