• STOCHASTIC ANALYSIS OF INVENTORY SYSTEM WITH INTER PRODUCTION AND SALES TIMES IN ACCORDANCE WITH GEOMETRIC PROCESSES
Abstract
Inventory system where produced product are sold for sales is considered.The production and sales of the product occur in accordance with two independent Geometric processes.The produced product are sold when the total production exceeds a random threshold level of inventory. The double Laplace transform of production and sales times,their expectations,variances and covariances are obtained. Numerical examples are presented for illustration.
