• A MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF RICE PRODUCTIVITY IN ANDHRA PRADESH
Abstract
The index numbers of rice productivity in Andhra Pradesh from 2000-01 to 2009-10 are collected from the Statistical Abstract-2010 of the Directorate of Economics and Statistics, Government of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. The Pie and Bar diagrams are shown for these data to understand them very clearly. A regression line is Fitted, where X is the year and Y is index number of rice productivity in Andhra Pradesh. The line is tested for goodness of fit by studying the techniques viz standard error, closeness of fit, finite differences, etc.
