• ON MAXIMAL INDEPENDENT SETS IN A GRAPH

Abstract


In this paper, the concepts of maximal independent set, maximal edge independent set of a graph are discussed. Further the famous graphs Pn, Cn and Kn are studied with respect to these concepts.
