• UNSTEADY CONVECTIVE HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER OF A VISCOUS FLUID THROUGH A POROUS MEDIUM IN A VERTICAL CHANNEL WITH HEAT SOURCES AND QUADRATIC TEMPERATURE VARIATION
Abstract
We make an attempt to investigate the unsteady convective Heat transfer flow of a viscous fluid through a porous medium in a vertical channel on whose walls a travelling thermal wave is imposed with quadratic temperature variation. As the governing equations are non-linear in nature, by taking the aspect ration d as a perturbation parameter the governing equations are solved by using Regular perturbation scheme. The velocity, temperature, stress and rate of heat transfer on y = ± L are evaluated numerically for different variation of G, D-1, Sc, So and N1.
