• ON NONCYCLIC VECTORS FOR CERTAIN BACKWARD SHIFTS
Abstract
Let be a sequence of positive numbers with, and let. By the space, we mean the set of all formal power series for which. We give some sufficient conditions under which the set of noncyclic vectors for the backward shift operator on is a countable union of nowhere dense sets.
