• ANALYTICAL EXPRESSION OF SUBSTRATE AND ENZYME CONCENTRATION IN THE HENRI-MICHAELIS-MENTEN MODEL USING HOMOTOPY ANALYSIS METHOD

P. Manimozhi, L. Rajendran*

Abstract

In this paper, Henry-Michaelis-Menten (HMM) model is discussed. The model proposed here is based on system of non-linear ordinary differential equations. Analytical expressions pertaining to the substrate, enzyme, enzyme-substrate complex and product concentration have been derived using Homotopy analysis method for all possible values of parameters. Furthermore, in this work the numerical simulation of the problem is also reported using Matlab program to investigate the dynamics of the system. The same information also presented in graphical form, which makes it easier to understand and less intimidating. The good agreement found between the analytic and numerical results.
