• MATHEMATICAL MODELING OF NUTRIENT UPTAKE BY SPHERICAL BULB SURFACE
Abstract
In this article, we drive mathematical expression for nutrient uptake by spherical bulb surface, which is the advection diffusion equation in the spherical radial form. We consider Michal Menten boundary condition as boundary condition for model, which is nonlinear surface boundary condition. We try to find the solution for advection diffusion equation reducing it into the Bessel's equation by the method of separation of variable with the boundary and initial conditions by re-scaling the variables and using extreme parameters.
