• EFFECT OF THERMO DIFFUSION AND DISSIPATION ON UNSTEADY CONVECTIVE HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER FLOW OF A VISCOUS ELECTRICALLY CONDUCTING FLUID IN A VERTICAL CHANNEL WITH TRAVELING THERMAL WAVES
Abstract
We investigate the combined influence of thermo-diffusion and viscous dissipation on unsteady convective heat and mass transfer flow of a viscous electrically conducting fluid in a vertical channel on whose walls traveling thermal wave is imposed. By taking the aspect ratio d as a perturbation parameter the governing non-linear equations are solved. The velocity, temperature, concentration and the rate of heat and mass transfer are analysed for M, S0, Ec and N1.
