• AN ADVANCED METHOD FOR FINDING AN OPTIMAL SOLUTION OF TRANSPORTATION PROBLEM

Abstract


In this paper, an advanced method named NS- method is proposed for finding an optimal solution for a wide range of transportation problems directly. However this method gives either optimal solution or near to optimal solution. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the proposed method.
